The Centre for Community Development (CCD) is a registered charity involved in community development through access to knowledge, information and a range of programmes and projects in Sri Lanka and UK. CCD believes in strengthening people to find solutions to their own problems. It works with local organisations that are best placed to understand local needs, aspirations and giving help on the ground to the needy. It speaks out on behalf of the poor and promotes equality and justice.
The Elder’s get-together is held every Thursday morning between 10am and 2.00pm at Shiraz Mizra Community hall, (Near Norbiton Railway station) 76A, Coombe Lane, Norbiton, Kingston upon Thames.
